 Originally named after the fictional character "Tarzan of the Apes" as a tribute to writer Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzana is located less than 20 miles from Los Angeles, just over the Hollywood Hills in the San Fernando Valley. Constructed along the 101 freeway and just minutes away from the Interstate 405, Tarzana has easy access to surrounding areas and interstate travel. This community is part of the Greater Los Angeles area and is home to about 26,000 residents.
